Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps Performance in Madagascar, Q4 2022

The fourth quarter of 2022 saw varied performance across the top 5 navigation and maps applications in Madagascar on a unified platform, according to Sensor Tower data.

Live Satellite View GPS Map from Appscourt showed significant fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting with a meager 47 downloads in the last week of September and peaking at 628 in the week of October 24. The app's weekly active users followed a similar pattern, growing from 45 to 595 in the same period.

Live Satellite & Location Maps by Vertix Soft experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 541 in the first week of December. Active users also increased consistently, peaking at 602 in mid-December.

Google Maps Go from Google LLC maintained a stable performance with weekly downloads ranging between 194 and 310. The app's weekly active users remained robust, hovering around 12K throughout the quarter and ending the year at 13K.

MAPS.ME: Offline maps GPS Nav from MAPS.ME (CYPRUS) LTD saw a modest increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 285 in late October. However, active users showed slight fluctuations, ending the quarter with 625 users.

GPS Navigation Live Map Road by Map Zone Studio had a relatively stable download rate, reaching its highest point with 235 downloads in early December. Active users showed a slight decline towards the end of the quarter, dropping from 230 in early December to 122 in the final week.
